The phone number you see displayed on your DoctorBase profile (DID NUMBER) is a tracking/forwarding number that directs callers to (OFFICE NUMBER). This also triggers the call notification emails you may have seen before.
This DID# is merely for tracking purposes and metrics and patients will have no delay as it is being forwarded. If you visit the ‘Live Reports’ section of your Doctor Portal, you can see a graph which shows call traffic, as well as other key stats. You will also receive an e-mail notification every time someone calls you.
